Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect
The website itself (meaning the actual code uploaded to the host provider) collects a minimal quantity of information.
If you are signing up to my newsletter, the site only collects your email address entered into the text field.
If you are contacting me using the contact page, the site collects the first/last name (or just your name, depending on what is entered in the input field), email address, message topic, and message entered in the respective inputs fields.
The website's contact forms have a specific data input type that allows the host provider to handle form submission requests without any backend needed for the main website.
When I reach out and reply, you should receive an email from my current email used to reply to inquiries, kionpartnerships@gmail.com. In the future, I may have a dedicated email address for general inquiries, which if so, this page will be updated to reflect those changes.
2. How We Use Your Information
When signing up to my newsletter, I will use your email (as stated in the previous section), to email you new video contents from my YouTube channel, including long form videos, shorts, and live streams. We will not promote anything outside of YouTube currently, as YouTube is my main focus to grow my audience. When contacting me through the contact page (as stated in the previous section), I use your name, email, and respective message type and message text, to reply to you back on your message. This means, I will only use the relevant information mentioned above for contacting you about the subject matter of your message. I will not spam you with out of context emails, or any advertisements to any personal (Patreon) or sponsored products.
3. Selling Data
I personally and this website, do not sell your personal information for any financial gain, or any other way. As stated in the previous statements prior, I only use relevant information for relevant tasks, such as sharing new content via the newsletter, or responding to email inquiries.
4. Data Removal
If you want your data removed, please use the contact page and select the subject of “Data Removal”. Just note that I might take up to a few days to get back and remove the data if such data exists.
5. Children Privacy
I'm aware that people of all ages are interested in spaceflight, and the more I can educate about science and space, the more future engineers, astronauts, scientists, and others I can be in power to pursue their dreams – Even if that includes becoming just someone who loves science! This website can be viewed by people over 13 years old without needing a parent by their side. However, if they are under 13 years old and they want to contact me, please reach out to me by using the child(s) parent contact information instead to protect their privacy. Again, I do NOT collect any information about you or your child, except for the specific information detailed in the first section via the newsletter or contact page.
6. Hosting and Website Tracking
This website is hosted on Netlify. For additional information on how they use your information, please consider checking their privacy policy. I also use Google Search Console to analyze the site’s performance. Considering using the respective links provided to learn more about both services and how they handle data usage.
